Rohitha Baskar holds a Bachelor of Science in Radiation and Health Physics from the University of Botswana, a Master of Applied Science in Medical Physics from Queensland University of Technology, and a Master of Occupational Health and Safety Science from the University of Queensland. She is a recipient of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Marie Sklodowska-Curie Fellowship, awarded to women pursuing careers in nuclear science and technology.
Rohitha is a Radiation Safety Consultant at McKavanagh Engineering Services Pty Ltd, where she works across radiation protection, compliance, instrument calibration, radiation safety training, consulting and occupational health and safety.
Originally from Botswana and now based in Australia, Rohitha brings an international perspective to radiation protection, shaped by academic achievement, practical consulting experience, and a strong commitment to the future of the profession.
