Heritage duty of care

  • Stilettos: We kindly ask that guests refrain from wearing stiletto heels in the Great Hall as it damages the heritage timber floors. Plastic heel covers will be supplied if required, and $5 per pair will be deducted from the bond.
  • Smoking/Vaping: The Arts Centre is a smoke and vape free site, including all outdoor areas.

Come along and enjoy a casual afternoon of networking with fellow New Zealanders working in the radiation sector before the conference. Catch up with colleagues, make new connections, and start the conference with great conversation.

Women in Radiation Drinks

Who should attend?
Women working in the radiation sector, and anyone interested in supporting and empowering female professionals in the radiation protection community. Everyone is welcome.

Why should one attend?
Join Women in Radiation for an evening of networking and conversation with professionals from across Australasia. Enjoy complimentary drinks while expanding your professional network, sharing experiences, and making new connections in a relaxed and welcoming environment. If you'd like to continue the conversation after the networking event, you're welcome to stay for dinner. Dinner is optional and will be at your own expense.

About ARPS

The Australian Radiation Protection Society was founded in 1975 and has more than 250 members engaged in radiation protection activities. Members are engaged in a variety of activities designed to ensure the safe use of both ionizing and non-ionizing radiation for a wide variety of applications, in medicine, pure and applied science, industry and mining. The Society was renamed the Australasian Radiation Protection Society in 1997 to reflect the increasing involvement of members from outside of Australia, particularly from New Zealand.
