Radon Symposium

Symposium Convenors
- Professor Shinji Tokonami – President AORA
- Paula Veevers – President ARPS
Theme
Radon – “what we know and what we don’t know”
In 1994, ARPS co-hosted a radon symposium. Since this time, there has been no other standalone radon symposium in Australia.
ARPS and the Asia Oceanic Radon Association (AORA) are proud to announce the “second” radon symposium held in conjunction with the annual ARPS conference in Coffs Harbour. The symposium replaces the traditional technical tours that occur on day 4 of the ARPS conference.
The theme of the symposium is “Radon – what we know and what we don’t know”.
The symposium will feature invited international and Australian speakers and include a panel discussion on radon in the workplace. The symposium will be preceded with a short refresher course on radon for in-person attendees.
The organisers are pleased to announce that the symposium will be live streamed, with live in-person and live online presentations. Online attendees will be able to join the symposium at no cost, thanks to the generous support of key sponsors. This will assist and enable attendance from practitioners from countries around the world.
The final program will include:
