Katherine Gouin is a Science Officer (Consequence Modelling) within the Modelling, Assessment and Emergency Preparedness Section of the Australian Radiation Protection and Nuclear Safety Agency (ARPANSA).
Katherine joined ARPANSA in 2003. During her time at ARPANSA Katherine has also worked in dosimetry (in ARPANSA’s Personal Radiation Monitoring Service) and in ARPANSA’s Radiation Monitoring Networks group – maintaining equipment networks measuring environmental radiation (Comprehensive Nuclear Test Ban Treaty radionuclide monitoring, ultraviolet radiation measurement, and surveillance of environmental gamma dose rate for early warning monitoring systems).
