Dr Joanne Lackenby (Jo) has over 15 years’ experience in the nuclear sector in Australia, the majority at the OPAL research reactor specialising in nuclear safety, licensing and regulation. She recently joined Frazer-Nash Consultancy where she applies her nuclear expertise to a range of different projects across Australia.

Jo is a TEDxSydney speaker and has a mission to increase public understanding of the benefits and potential of peaceful nuclear technologies in Australia. She is the current Vice President of the Australian Nuclear Association Inc and a previous Executive of Women in Nuclear Global.

Jo holds degrees in environmental and geotechnical engineering.
